SOUP 9 is a major re-write using a new compiler.  All applications should run faster.
 

SOUP 8 must be uninstalled before installing SOUP 9.
Start==>Control Panel==>Add/Remove Programs==>Synovative ...==>Remove
 

VISTA users:
  a)  install TweakUAC (User Account Control) utility first to allow UAC to be easily shut off and on.  It is on the Download page.
  b)  must install and run SOUP with UAC (User Account Control - See Download page for easy to use UAC utility) off
  c)  must download and SAVE the SOUP module, set the module to run in XP compatibility mode and then run it to install
  d)  must run from an administrator account
